Anna Zheleznyakova, an artist with specialization in graphics
In 2003, Anna graduated from the State Academic Institute of Arts, Sculpture, and Architecture (named in honor of I.E.Repin) in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her diploma work "North Africa" consists of a series of works, fulfilled under the supervision of the Honored Artist of Russia A.A. Pakhomov. In 2007, Anna became a member of Union of Russian Artists. She is well-versed in may painting techniques, but her specialization is graphics, creating images for books, easel graphics, and printed graphics (etching). She also takes part in projects for theaters, design, and advertisement.
Many of Anna's works were inspired by her numerous travels in the North Africa (Tunis, Egypt), Spain, Italy, Montenegro, and Greece. Her works were shown at the exibitions at the Academy of Arts, at the halls of House of Union of Artists, and in famous Manezh exhibition hall (St. Petersburg). In 2008-2009, Anna had a series of personal exhibitions at the Culture Centre "Vyborgsky" and in 2016 she had a personal exibition called "Heartbeating" at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg. Her paintings can be found at museums and private collections both in Russia and abroad.
